PURPOSE OF JOB

Create and execute a marketing plan for the generation of Resort Rental Revenue and Sales. Communication of Resort/Company brand via all media outlets. Collaborate with Management Team for strategic brand marketing for various business lines within the established budget.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (listed in order of priority):

  • Develop and implement a marketing plan in coordination with Marketing Committee (comprised of Marketing Coordinator, Resort General Managers, Reservations & Inventory Manager), and other related business managers, as applicable.
  • Develop marketing plans/strategies for the following businesses/entities: Eastern Slope Inn Resort, Attitash Mountain Village Resort, Oxen Yoke Inn, Attitash Motel & Suites, and NorthConwayLodging.com.
  • Oversee design, content, functionality and special features of the websites, maintain and update the web sites and correspond with web consultants for any changes that cannot be made internally.
  • Manage SEO, Google Adwords, and execute Social Media and Eblast campaigns according to plan.
  • Work with Marketing Committee to implement marketing strategies and maintain monthly strategies/campaign calendar based on scheduled Marketing Committee meetings, revenue reports, and web & guest visit analytics.
  • Work with resort operations managers to ensure that guests have a positive experience, and are encouraged to post positive reviews on TripAdvisor, Google reviews, etc.
  • Evaluate marketing performance metrics and make recommendations to improve business strategy.
  • Design and oversee the pricing/printing and distribution of all digital and printed collateral material, including billboards, in-house pieces, sales kits, and press kits.
  • Maintain access to databases for mailings, eblasts, and other marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinate communications with TripAdvisor, Resorts & Lodges, and similar entities to maximize relationships and ensure Resort responsiveness.
  • Plan, write, & execute radio ads, internet video ads, and TV ads, as needed.
  • Coordinate sponsorships, and attend events, as needed.

SCOPE

  • Responsible for the overall marketing of AMSCO, and related companies, and facilitating communication with staff, guests, owners, and the media.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related major with a minimum of 5 years experience in the lodging industry.
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Microsoft Office Proficient
  • Marketing and Brand Management Knowledge
  • Marketing skillset for graphic design, website design and management; print media, digital/social media.
  • Ability to lead marketing, and identify opportunities for revenue generation and growth potential
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and delegate tasks.
  • Ability to work independently as well as be part of a team.
  • Ability to work with a budget, and make adjustments, as needed.
