Barbara Harmon, CFO of the Berry Companies, was recently elected to the board of trustees at the Betty C. Ketchum Foundation, the founder and operator of the Mount Washington Valley Adult Day Center. Barbara brings decades of business and leadership expertise to the board, with disciplined financial education and experience. She has accepted the newly appointed position as Treasurer of the Foundation, with which she hopes to enhance the financial position of the non-profit.
The foundation welcomes Barbara and two other new trustees to its board, which it eagerly anticipates will “greatly strengthen our ability to serve families in Carroll County and surrounding communities”, said board President Norman Cloutier. “It is wonderful to see the happiness and relief the Adult Day Care Center delivers every day. This wonderful center is a real jewel for those living in the Mount Washington Valley” says Barbara.
The Betty C. Ketchum Foundation is a private non-profit 5o1(c)(3) organization that operates the Mount Washington Valley Adult Day Center, which opened in 2019. The Center provides structured adult care from 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday, for the elderly population of Carroll County and its surrounding communities.
